HydroGeoLogic, Inc. (HGL) has a high-visibility position open for a Senior Engineer in Orlando, FL or Cocoa Beach, FL. HGL is an industry leader with over 30 years of experience providing comprehensive
environmental engineering services by implementing innovative, effective, and sustainable solutions that address today's environmental, infrastructure, and natural resource challenges. HGL provides environmental engineering, remediation, and construction services,
as well as Military Munitions Response Program support to NASA, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Energy and other federal and state government clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for management and performance of environmental field investigations, remedial designs and remediation projects at hazardous waste sites. Tasks will involve supervision and support of environmental and engineering
projects and characterization and remediation of impacted soil, sediment, and groundwater.
Responsibilities and expectations for this position include:
Ability to provide technical support and/or supervision of a variety of remedial projects associated with environmental remediation, and task order proposal preparation and/or support.
Strong technical capabilities in design elements and ability to provide quality review of drawings, designs, calculations, construction specifications, and oversight of field operations and construction.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with the client, project team, and management.
Familiar with local, state, and federal environmental rules and regulations.
Ability to work successfully on multiple tasks concurrently
A minimum of 8 years of related work experience in environmental projects
The successful candidate will have experience designing and executing environmental investigation, remediation, design, and construction projects at NASA, DoD, and/or EPA facilities.
Experience with remedial engineering, subcontractor oversight, and technical report writing
The Senior Engineer position requires a BS degree in a field related to Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. A PE certification or ability to obtain one is required.
The successful candidate will be required to pass the installation security checks and to possess or obtain OSHA HAZWOPER certification upon employment.
