Currently, HGL has a position open for a GIS Specialist IV in one of the following HGL offices; Reston, VA, Philadelphia, PA, Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ, Huntsville, AL, Overland Park, KS or Albany, NY.
Computer proficiency in ArcGIS and MS Office in a MS Windows OS required. Must be able to effectively create, query and manage geospatial data in an enterprise class geospatial database (SDE). Web mapping skills required. Experience using ArcPy scripting,
Must be able to work in a production environment and have working knowledge of GIS and cartographic concepts. Effective oral and written communication, presentation skills, and the ability to complete projects independently and/or in small teams in a responsible and timely manner are required. Strong interpersonal skills required.
BS or BA in Geography, Geographic Information Systems or related field required.
