Munitions Response Program support to the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Energy, and other federal and state government clients. HGL has positions open for
mid-level (Staff) Engineers within its growing Florida Operation. While the base office is in Orlando the work and positions cover a variety of locations around the state. These are high visibility positions with potential to be career changers in a growing
HGL is looking for experienced professionals to support two Performance Based Remediation (PBR) contracts, a 5-year contract with NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC), and multiple 10-year EPA contracts. The work requires full-service environmental investigation
and remediation services. Technical support and/or supervision of a variety of project tasks and other staff may be required. Must be able to execute multiple projects and tasks concurrently.

services under the direction of the project and installation managers. Must be a team-oriented person willing to conduct a variety of office and field assignments and have strong report writing skills for the evaluation of investigative and remediation results.
Travel, overtime and moderate physical work will routinely be required.

Working under detailed quality assurance/quality control programs.
Must have environmental field investigation experience.
Must be proficient in MS Office applications. MS Project and MS PowerPoint are routinely used.
A minimum of 4+ years of related work experience
Performance and/or oversight of field activities
Demonstrated report writing skills
Experience with environmental site operations
Knowledge of and/or experience with NASA, RCRA, CERCLA, DoD, DoE, or USEPA projects.
Demonstrated history of initiative, motivation, and creative problem solving.
Attention to detail.
Minimum of a BA/BS degree in an engineering field related to Environmental Studies such as: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.

health and the ability to work on site in all types of Florida weather conditions and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds in order to perform field tasks is required.

A pre-hire drug test and a fit for duty baseline physical will be required
