HydroGeoLogic, Inc. (HGL) has a position open for an Assistant Engineer in the Kansas City area to support HGL’s growing business associated with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Remedial Action Framework (RAF) contracts. HGL is a leader in the environmental remediation industry, with over 30 years of experience providing comprehensive engineering and design services by implementing innovative, effective, and sustainable solutions that address environmental, infrastructure, and natural resource management challenges. HGL provides environmental engineering, remediation, and construction services, as well as Military Munitions Response Program support to EPA, U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), U.S. Air Force (AF), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), and other federal and state government clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for execution of environmental field tasks and related office work, including work plan and report preparation under the direction of a project manager. Tasks may include engineering cost calculations, development of engineering drawings, data collection/environmental sampling, investigation and engineering studies reports, and cost estimation.
This is an entry level position and generally requires 0-2 years of related work experience. Those applying directly out of college must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of procedures necessary to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position.
A pre-hire drug test and baseline physical are required.
